Quinpool Road’s 9th annual Monte Carlo Night took place Friday, May 27th, and raised more than $3500.00 for graffiti removal on Quinpool Road.

The 11th Annual Quinpool Cruise took place Saturday July 16th. This year the Cruise took on a different look and feel with blues bands giving free performances in front of Cyclesmith and on Freeman’s patio. Bucky Adams played at Season’s by Atlantica while approximately 200 antique and specialty cars drove down Quinpool Road.
Quinpool’s Quinfest, had something for everyone, and the community came out in droves to support it. All of the offerings were free, and included several games, activities , crafts; food samplings, numerous indoor and outdoor sales as well as a concert and kite flying event.
Marketing efforts included a re-branding and new website for the event, flyers delivered to 4,000 homes and distributed to local businesses, Glow Signs on both sides of the street and a lite 92.9 radio campaign. Stories were featured in the Chronicle Herald and the Coast and the concert was promoted through social media.

Christmas on Quinpool. The second annual Quinpool Holiday Calendar was chock full of free events and specials. The calendar which was distributed to all of the businesses on Quinpool and 14,000 homes was also posted on our website. Santa’s visits, Nova Scotia SPCA Santa Pics with Halifax Veterinary Hospital, Quinpool’s Second Annual Christmas Pet Parade, Christmas Movie at Oxford Theater, Holiday Trivia Night and Soup and Song at Freeman’s and Under the Mistletoe with Bramoso were all featured in the 2011 calendar.
