By all accounts the Quinspired Gift Idea Christmas campaign was a great success! The social media campaign began on Tuesday, November 22 and ran until Wednesday, December 21. Thanks to Kelly Burke from Burke & Burke, we had great photographs representing each of the 45 participating businesses that were posted on our social media accounts. On average, each business’ photo was posted twice to our Facebook page and twice to our Twitter page throughout the campaign. The popularity of the online campaign is growing each year, with an increased number of views, likes, shares and re-tweets!
The response that we received regarding the contest part of the campaign was also quite amazing. There were over 750 names in the draw for the Gift Card Package (value of $250) both through ballots and online entries using the hashtag #LocalQuinpool. Thank you to all the businesses that participated in the campaign! A special thanks to the Bank of Montreal for sponsoring the campaign. For the third year in a row their sponsorship enabled us to pass out more than 3,000 free, reusable bags to our member’s customers
