By all accounts the Quinspired Gift Idea Christmas Campaign was a great success! The social media campaign began on Monday, November 20 and ran until Friday, December 22. On average, each business’ photo was posted twice to our Facebook page and twice to our Twitter page throughout the campaign. Instagram was also used for the first time with this campaign. The popularity of the online campaign is growing each year, with an increased number of views, likes, shares and re-tweets!
The response that we received regarding the contest part of the campaign was also quite amazing. There were over 750 names in the draw for the Gift Card Package (value of $250) both through ballots and online entries using the hashtag #LocalQuinpool. Thank you to all the businesses that participated in the campaign! A special thanks to the Bank of Montreal for sponsoring the campaign. For the fourth year in a row their sponsorship enabled us to pass out more than 3,000 free, reusable bags to our member’s customers.
